This “cheater” jam uses a blender, gelatin, and canned peaches to produce a tasty spread that’s perfect for your favorite whole-grain toast.
Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz.) can sliced peaches, packed in juice
- 1 packet unflavored gelatin
- ⅔ cup apple juice
- ¼ tsp. cinnamon
Directions
- Drain all of the peach juice into the blender jar. Sprinkle in the gelatin powder and let sit (1 minute).
- In a small saucepan, heat the apple juice until just steaming.
- Add this to the blender jar with gelatin mixture. Blend on high, being sure to keep the vent open and covered loosely with a towel.
- Add peaches and cinnamon and blend until smooth. Transfer to a storage container and refrigerate until set (1 hour).
