Potato chips are good, and sweet potato chips are better. Made at home, where you can control the salt, fat, and seasonings, they’re unbeatable as a snack.
Tip: Homemade potato chips bake more evenly when they’re evenly sliced, so pull out your mandolin slicer if you have one.
Ingredients
- 1 sweet potato, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. rosemary
- ¼ tsp. salt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400ºF. Position rack in the center position.
- Toss sweet potato slices with remaining ingredients to coat. Lay in single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake until chips are brown and crisp (10-15 minutes). Allow chips to cool completely on baking sheets (5 minutes) and serve fresh.
