Baked Tortilla Chips

These tasty chips are seasoned with chili powder and cumin. Lime juice adds depth and tanginess. If you’ve got a mister, you can mix the oil and lime juice together and mist instead of brushing it on. Serve up with a side of Black Bean & Bell Pepper Salsa for an appetizer you could make a meal out of.

Ingredients

  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. corn tortillas
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 3 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • ½ tsp. salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
  2. Cut each tortilla into eight wedges and arrange in a single layer on a cookie sheet.
  3. Whisk together oil and lime juice and brush lightly over tortilla wedges.
  4. Combine the cumin, chili powder, and salt. Sprinkle on wedges.
  5. Bake until crisp and brown, flipping once about halfway through (12-15 minutes).
