Ingredients
- ¼ cup onion, chopped
- ½ cup chopped bell pepper
- 1 lb. 95% lean ground beef
- ½ cup tomato paste
- 1 cup chopped tomatoes
- ½ tsp. mustard
- ¼ tsp. pepper
- ½ tsp. chopped chili pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 scallions, chopped
- ½ tsp. ginger
- ⅛ tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. orange zest
- ½ tsp. thyme
- ¼ cup oatmeal
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- Coat a skillet with cooking spray and sauté onion and pepper until soft (3-5 minutes).
- Mix all ingredients together thoroughly.
- Place in 1 lb. loaf pan and baked, covered, until it reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165ºF (50 minutes).
- Uncover pan and continue baking until crisp on top (12 minutes).
